Allows the construction of a knowledge based system for computation of the
physical and economic suitability of land mapping units in accordance with
the FAO Framework for Land Evaluation (1976). The user specifies input
data form which the program gives advice on how to implement FAO methodology.
Data can be entered via export from database management systems such as DBASE
and results can also be exported to Geographic information systems; an
optional interface with IDRISI is already built into the package.
