Abstract:

CSYMBA is an integrated software package to implement, update, and validate modular cropping system simulation models.
Re-usable submodels for process simulation can be added to the system by writing Visual BASIC subroutines.
System models can be built by selecting submodels and inserting them in a daily/hourly/semihourly loop.
The system models can be exported as standalone programs. CSYMBA maintains three databases:
CSYMBA has utilities to plot data, to validate model simulation results vs. measured data, and to run a sensitivity analysis on system models.
