Abstract:
Water flow can be simulated in a soil profile consisting of up to 5
horizons with different soil physical properties. To simulate water flow
the profile is divided into compartments. For each compartment the model
computes the incoming and outgoing fluxes, the pressure head and the water
content. For the complete soil profile the model computes the groundwaterlevel,
the draindischarge, the actual transpiration and the surface runoff.
