Abstract:
Uses the Thornthwaite method of computing potential evapotranspiration (PET). Using the monthly average air
temperature of the location for which PET is to be calculated, it will compute the PET in centimeters per month
then convert it to inches per month. There are no correction factors for different vegetation types.
