Abstract:

SISDA has as it main goal to give the users a tool which would enable them to optimize the use of water, and other environmental resources, on its crop management activities. To do so it is based on the integration of the available knowledge for different areas in order to provide an objective tool to evaluate the resource management at the field level and the generalization of knowledge into a comprehensive but understandable knowledge base whitout lousing scientific rigor. SISDA outputs comprises: lenght of the growing season, potential evapotranspiration, dry spell probability, probability of disease occurrence, availability of water in the soil and irrigation shedule.
