Abstract:

A program to assist in the selection of management practices to reduce soil erosion. It uses the procedures of the USA soil loss equation (USLE) to predict average soil losses due to sheet and rill erosion. Research by the Soil Conservation Service of NSW on critical rainfall and soil factors has adapted USLE for the climate, soils and crops of NSW. Uses a consistent and user interface so that useful answers can be obtained with a minimum of data.
